Description
Hey, another piece into this collection Next will be some green lady and finally! I will be able to make a Windows logo from them!
(and then maybe orange, green and purple aswell)
probably going to post better photo soon again, since I hate how even the Canon camera isn't able to view all the details I've put there :C
Made with Faber-Castell 30 Junior Triangular (normal school pencils, extra thick :3 ) and Jovi watercolours (again, nothing special)
He should have had an angry expression, I don't know how I managed this, though.
I should have been on a schooltrip right now, instead of it I'm drawing this guy
If he was real, I wouldn't be able to breath or think because of that chin

Hello!
I really think this ia a great piece. It really evokes a feeling of sadness and as you stated in the title melancholy. The piece is emotional and it kind of reminds me of the movie with Daniel Radcliff called Horns.
Your technique is well done, shading and coloring seems to be pretty well blended and I feel that you've got a great grasp of shadows. The textures on the horns is really well executed and the start of the beard gives it a nice depth that I think people have a hard time with.
Overall you have a good grasp of the human form and I have to say I really like this piece.
